Summer Camp at Twigg Farm

An overnight program in Mid-Coast Maine.

Overview

Summer camp is full of magical moments - whether it’s that first laugh with your cabin mates, excited shivers before an early morning dip in the lake, or the taste of a perfectly cooked s’more - this time together, and the friendships and skills developed, will last forever.

Camp Chloë at Twigg Farm is intentionally small, with a maximum of 8-20 campers (depending on the session), creating a relaxed, family-like atmosphere. We tailor our days to unique individual interests and excitement. We cook and eat meals together, made with fresh produce picked from our gardens. We make our own ice cream with mint and berries from the farm. Wild flowers are everywhere. Apple, oak and walnut trees provide shade for afternoon play, and we fall asleep to the ancient sound of loons, crickets and bullfrogs. It’s an idyllic setting to nurture confidence, creativity, and compassion.

We spend our days making new friends, swimming at our private beach on the lake, hiking and exploring outdoors, making art, playing games, doing scavenger hunts and group challenges, gardening, practicing yoga, and simply enjoying summer life on a farm in Maine.

Twigg Farm is our new camp home, located on 84 acres in Union, Maine. The property is abound with woods, rolling fields, an apple orchard, frog pond, greenhouse, large barn, trails and 600 feet of private shoreline on 560-acre Seven Tree Pond. The setting provides endless possibilities for adventure and exploration, offering a truly unique and enchanting summer experience.

Our days are organized but flexible. We are busy, but not rushed. We follow a schedule of what feels fun in the moment. We strike a balance between exciting new challenges and relaxing simplicity. We believe that creativity, confidence and compassion thrive in this environment.

“Any type of child with thrive and grow in this program”

“Chloë can connect groups of kids seamlessly...she is vigilant about safety and rules but in a way that the girls never questioned...I watched Chloë through the years and trust her immensely and hold her in a special place in my heart because of what she gave my girls.”

“Such a fun, wholesome, age appropriate camp, the counselors rock.”

“Chloë is very well organized... I have always appreciated how she takes the best from diverse educational models and also tailors activities to different personalities and interests... Chloe also manages to create a tangible culture of respect, tolerance and kindness, and infuses the days with a spirit of wonder.”

“A truly wonderful program; it was the perfect intro to sleepaway camp for our daughter. It felt intimate and so well thought-out. Meals and accommodations were great -- activities were plentiful and meaningful. Our daughter had SO much fun, learned not to sweat the small stuff. It was a wonderful week in the woods and waters of Maine and we would be thrilled to do it again.”

“This program was the absolute best camp I have found for my daughter to experience. She came back confident, happy, energized and full of light. Every single part of camp sounds like it was filled with all kinds of goodness. My daughter can't wait to come back!! Hands down, we recommend Camp Chloe above all other summer camps.”
